Honda’s Interesting EV Concepts Just Got A Cool Big Brother

At the Tokyo Motor Show today, Honda took the wraps off their latest Electric Vehicle Concept, the Sport EV Concept.

This is the third EV concept its shown in recent years after the NeuV Concept and the Urban EV Concept.

The NeuV explores how owners can benefit from artificial intelligence in electric vehicles. It has 2 seats and a little ‘Kick and Go’ scooter in the rear, so you can travel to your final destination after parking he car.

Meanwhile the Urban EV is a more realistic take on EVs, with more space and a practical, beautiful design. Honda announced that the Urban EV would go on sale by 2020 in Europe and Japan. Its retro design is inspired by the early Civics with CVCC engines.

The Sport EV Concept, on the other hand, looks like a throwback to the S600 we mentioned earlier.  The Honda Sports EV Concept explores a one-ness between driver and car, never experienced before.

Built upon an EV-specific platform, this concept model is equipped with a highly responsive electric power unit in a easy to handle compact body. Powerful, smooth acceleration are coupled with a serene quietness thanks to its electric motor, and a low center of gravity realise exciting maneuverability, beckoning the driver and car as one into a completely new experience.
