How MINI’s Infotainment SHOULD Look

We gave MINI props for putting a lot of attention to design in this article, but we feel there’s one aspect they could push. Now that it’s 2018 and display technology has become cheap enough for just about every car manufacturer to offer, MINI should push for something like this:

By utilising the entirity of the circular cluster, MINI will be able to give an immersive, high-tech experience in-line with BMW Group’s vision for the brand. These images were rendered by Chalk-Full (chalk-full.com) on behalf of Creative27’s client MINI themselves. So, yes, they probably know about these designs already.

But will they be the first to market this? We’re already seeing digital information clusters from other brands (including BMW) already taking more circular forms.
