Yamaha XMax 250 Enters Malaysian Market – RM22,498
Hong Leong Yamaha Motor has confirmed that Yamaha XMax 250 will be available through all Yamaha distributors by the end of this month. The maxi scooter made its surprise debut during the launch of the MT-09 in January this year.
Available in Metallic White and Rusty Bronze, the new XMax 250 is priced at RM22,498.50 including GST.
It is powered by a 250 cc, liquid-cooled SOHC engine with fuel injection that produces 22.5 hp at 7,000 rpm and 24.3 Nm at 5,500 rpm. The unit is mated to a V-belt automatic transmission which channels the output to the rear wheel.
Standard equipment for the our version includes LED headlights and taillights, full LCD instrument panel, as well as a 12V power outlet.
It also has an under seat storage compartment that is large enough for two full-face helmets. Additionally, adjustable handlebar and windshield provide preferred riding comfort and customized aerodynamics.
As for safety, the Xmax 250 is equipped with ABS on both wheels, Traction Control System (TCS) and a smart key system with answer-back function.
