Haval H9 Previewed at Malaysia Autoshow 2018
Go Auto Sales Sdn Bhd, the exclusive distributor for Haval SUV in Malaysia, has previewed its new Haval H9 model at the Malaysia Automotive Institute (MAI) Autoshow 2018 held in MAEPS, Serdang. The model is planned to be officially launched towards the end of 2018.
“I must emphasise this new model is definitely part of our efforts to open the opportunity to Malaysian the options to own a SUV at a competitive price in this particular segment,” said Dato’ SM Azli SM Nasimuddin Kamal, Executive Director of Go Auto Group.
The H9 is a seven-seater SUV that comes with 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder double VVT engine producing 160 horsepower and 324 Nm of torque as well as all-wheel drive. The SUV is equipped with advanced comprehensive active and passive safety features such as Electronic Stability Program (ESP) by Bosch, Hill Descent and Ascent Control, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) alongside Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD), Tyre Pressure Monitor System, Intelligent Adaptive Front-lighting System (AFS) as well as six airbags.
The indicative price for the H9 will be below RM200,000. It will be offered in two variants, Luxury and Ultra, and will available in five colours which are Alaskan White, Ebony, Sleek Silver, Kakadu and Bronze.
“During this auto show, we are also showcasing our Haval H8 model to the public to showcase possible offerings that we might consider bringing in the market. Moving forward, our next step is preparing for the launch of the CBU H9 model happening in Q4 of 2018 which the price will be officially announced. Whereas, the CKD models are estimated to be available towards the end of Q2 in 2019,” Dato’ Azli added.
