BMW Malaysia delivers a fleet of BMW 530e Sport for CIMB Classic 2018

As the premium partner of the CIMB Classic for the ninth successive year, BMW Malaysia today officially handed over the keys to a fleet of BMW 530e Sport to be utilised as the official cars at the upcoming CIMB Classic 2018.

The BMW 5 Series Hybrid with eDrive Technology vehicles will be used to shuttle all players, officials, as well as VIPs who will be in Malaysia throughout the tournament. The CIMB Classic 2018 will feature 78 players, including defending champion Pat Perez, and world number four Justin Thomas seeking his third CIMB Classic title. Also vying for the US$7 million prize fund are BMW Championship winner Keegan Bradley, World Golf Hall of Fame members Ernie Els and Davis Love III, England’s world number 19 Paul Casey, and Japan’s five-time PGA Tour winner Hideki Matsuyama.

BMW Malaysia will also be showcasing a range of BMW vehicles on the tournament grounds during the competition. The vehicles that will be displayed include the BMW i8, BMW X3 xDrive30i, BMW 530i M Sport, BMW X2 xDrive20i, and BMW 740Le xDrive. The BMW 740Le xDrive is also the Hole-in-One Prize at the tournament.

The CIMB Classic 2018 will take place from 11th to 14th October, at the TPC Kuala Lumpur.
