NZ Wheels and Mercedes-Benz Malaysia Host The Mercedes-Benz Discovery Learning Programme
NZ Wheels Sdn Bhd, an authorised dealer for Mercedes-Benz in Malaysia, together with Mercedes-Benz Malaysia today hosted an exclusive customer session of the Mercedes-Benz Discovery Learning Programme held at the NZ Wheels Klang Autohaus.
Engineered by Mercedes-Benz Malaysia, the Mercedes-Benz Discovery Learning Programme is specially designed to enable their customers to understand their Mercedes-Benz and all the functions, technologies and safety features of their vehicle. The main objective of this programme is to optimise their ownership experience through information sharing and discovery sessions conducted by the marque’s technical experts, and unleash their Mercedes-Benz’s potential.
The highlight of the programme was Mr. Andreas Roehl, a Daimler AG Technical Expert who flew in from Germany to speak to customers on the latest technologies, pre-safe and safety features of Mercedes-Benz cars. Mr. Roehl conducted an Information Sharing Session where customers were taken step-by-step through the Pre-Safe and safety features available within a Mercedes-Benz vehicle. The detailed approach in explaining the cutting-edge safety features were aimed at helping drivers gain greater confidence on the road with a secured driving experience.
Customers enjoyed a Live Demonstration Session facilitated by Mercedes-Benz Malaysia Technical Specialists, where purposefully-designed features within a Mercedes-Benz such as Park Assist, Hold functions and more were demonstrated and explained in detail. In addition, customers were also furnished with servicing and car care tips in a special Servicing & Car Care Tips Session and were assisted by Mercedes-Benz Certified NZ Wheels Product Experts in all their enquiries related to their Mercedes-Benz during the Vehicle Discovery Session.
With safety being a core Mercedes-Benz value since the invention of the automobile, Mr. Roehl also demonstrated the importance of authorised retail network and genuine parts which contribute to the overall safety, reliability and long-term value of a Mercedes-Benz.
In an effort to better serve customers and enhance their sales and aftersales experience synonymous with the Mercedes-Benz brand, NZ Wheels also took the opportunity to introduce new appointments to their management team who will strengthen the aftersales operations.
The brand new Body & Paint facility has the capacity to service up to 70 cars per month, offering services such as spot welding and MIG/MAG welding, dry sanding facility, infra-red technology dryers, Glasurit water-based paints and dedicated aluminium repair bay. All tools, equipment and repair technologies available at the Body & Paint facility are in accordance with Mercedes-Benz repair guidelines and standards.
This new 8,330 sq.ft. body and paint facility was set up at an investment of RM2 million, and NZ Wheels Klang Autohaus will have the honour of becoming NZ Wheels’ First Certified Body & Paint Centre as per Mercedes-Benz global standards, ensuring post-repair safety ratings of their customers’ Mercedes-Benz remain five-star.
NZ Wheels Klang Autohaus is one of the authorised Mercedes-Benz Autohauses in Klang Valley, with a total build-up area of almost 32,000 sq. ft. The state-of-the-art facility has a total display capacity of 17 vehicles with three of them being the AMG cars at AMG Performance Centre, and is backed by a workforce of around 70 personnel across sales, technical services and spare parts functions. A full-fledged 3S centre, the NZ Wheels Klang Autohaus is equipped with 30 work bays, capable of servicing up to approximately 650 vehicles a month, providing general and specialised repair solutions.
NZ Wheels Klang Autohaus also features the first separate facility for a Mercedes-Benz Proven Exclusivity centre in Malaysia, a dedicated space for customers to view and test drive an extensive range of certified pre-owned Mercedes-Benz cars.
