Rahel Frey and Daniel Bilski Take Thailand Super Series Podium at Season Finale

B-Quik Racing’s Rahel Frey and Daniel Bilski took a hugely impressive second place finish in the Super Car GTM+ round seven of the Thailand Super Series. Amongst a strong field of 19 race cars, the driver duo surged from a starting position of sixth to finish on the podium at the Chang International Circuit in their Audi R8 LMS ultra.

Unfortunately for the pair, in Sunday’s round eight a technical issue just as official Audi Sport driver, Frey, had taken over from Bilski spelt an end to the final Thailand Super Series race of the season.

“In round seven, we saw the strength of Rahel Frey, Daniel Bilski and B-Quik Racing. Both drivers put in impressive stints, with the team doing a great job behind the scenes, congratulations to everyone for that hard-fought podium,” said Martin Kuehl, Director of Audi Sport customer racing Asia. “We look forward to welcoming B-Quik Racing back to the Audi Sport R8 LMS Cup next month.”

The team’s Audi R8 LMS ultra bore the logo of the Audi Sport R8 LMS Cup over the weekend ahead of B-Quik Racing’s return to the series at the Cup’s season finale. Rounds nine and ten of the Audi Sport R8 LMS Cup take place on November 24-25 at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia. B-Quik Racing will be looking to build on their previous successes in the Cup, with Daniel Bilski winning the 2015 Am Cup and the 2016 Masters Cup.
