2019 Maserati Ghibli Open for Booking in Malaysia
Maserati’s best-selling luxury sedan, the Ghibli, now comes with discreet refinements to the ultimate detail in a MY19 (Model Year 2019) version, which Naza Italia has announced is available for booking in Malaysia.
The latest incarnation of this model brings subtle style enhancements, along with new colour options, alloy wheels, full-grain Pieno Fiore natural leather with new veneers and a redesigned gearshift lever with shorter travel and improved operation.
Adaptive Full LED Matrix headlights are now standard across the range, while the eye-catching Nerissimo styling package has been updated and made available for the MY19 Ghibli.
For the cabin, Maserati is offering two brand new high-gloss interior veneers; the Carbon Fibre Twill, which adds exclusivity to the cabin by conveying the idea of a deep 3D look, and the luxurious wooden Rovere Veneer, which features fine stripes with a brushed effect under the glossy top coat.
Apart from that, the 8.4-inch Maserati Touch Control Plus (MTC+) display has also been updated with new graphics and improved Climate Control functions.
The MY19 Ghibli comes with a choice of eleven body colours, including the new tri-coat Blu Nobile with sparkling glass flakes that glimmer under the sunlight. There is also a choice of ten alloy wheels in six different designs in sizes ranging from 18 to 21 inch. This includes the new 20-inch Teseo wheel, available in light and dark finishes.
The Nerissimo package brings together black and dark body elements with an extended range of eight specific exterior colours – five of which are brand new – and 20- or 21-inch alloy wheels with dark finish.
Mechanically, the sedan retains the 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 mill that churns out 350 hp at 5,000 rpm and 500 Nm from 1,750 to 4,500 rpm in the Ghibli, and 430 hp at 5,750 rpm and 580 Nm from 2,250 to 4,000 rpm in the Ghibli S.
The Ghibli is available at a starting price of RM618,800 (inclusive of local taxes and duties) for the standard model, and RM668,800 for the GranLusso and GranSport models. The Ghibli S is priced at RM718,800 while the Ghibi S GranSport and GranLusso can be yours for RM768,800.
