Porsche 718 Cayman SportDesign Launched in Malaysia
Sime Darby Auto Performance (SDAP) has officially introduced the new Porsche 718 Cayman SportDesign Series. It is limited to 15 units, with five available in each of the following exterior colours: Racing Yellow, Guards Red, and Carrera White Metallic.
The Cayman SportDesign stands out from the 718 model lineup thanks to carbon fibre stripes running down the center of the vehicle, as well as the unique front end with newly designed front spoiler and rear apron.
In addition, the black door handles and the centrally positioned black tailpipes give the new model a sportier appearance. The car comes standard with LED headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus and 20-inch alloy wheels that are available in either the Carrera S or Carrera Sport Wheel design.
Inside, the Cayman SportDesign features black leather interior package with carbon trim, 14-way power seats that include comfort memory foam for the driver and front passenger, as well as a Bose Surround Sound System with 10 loudspeakers.
As for performance, the car retains the 2.0-liter turbocharged flat-four engine that makes 300 hp and 380 Nm, as well as the seven-speed PDK. Also fitted as standard is the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) which in turn lowers the ride height by 10 mm.
Priced at RM625,000, the 718 Cayman SportDesign comes with a four-year warranty and free maintenance package for peace-of-mind ownership. The stated price includes all applicable duties, except registration fee, road tax and insurance.
