Sorry, this Mugen Civic Type R is not for sale
Here is a tuned Civic that we Malaysians will not be able to buy brand new from Honda Malaysia.
The reasons are still unavailable despite us asking a few key people in Honda Malaysia but we know that this Mugen kit has the same rear wing, wheels and wing-mirrors as the awesome and outlandish RC20GT Mugen kit (pictured below). Under the hood there are no tuning bits added.
This Mugen kit on the Type R has a deeper set of front and rear bumpers and side skirts as compared to the stock car. The rear bumper features an aggressive extended diffuser and with the colour combination it looks very aggressive.
This car remains a prototype but at some point in the future it will be sold….this one unit and it all depends on the asking price for us to take ownership. We are sure there will be a few Honda dealers ready to buy it as they are all millionaires from years of selling Honda’s.
