The highly contemporary moon phase has a display showing the two hemispheres, a calibrated scale corresponding to a lunar month of 29 and a half days, and rose gold discs reproducing the lunar cycle on the dial: new moon, first quarter, full moon and last quarter. The moon phase of this new Tonda 1950 requires correction once every three years.
