Mercedes-Benz GLA 200 Style Variant Now in Malaysia @ RM224K
The GLA, a popular little premium crossover from Stuttgart, is now available in a new variant: the GLA 200 Style. It is priced at RM223,888, making it the most affordable GLA in Malaysia. Existing variants include:
- Mercedes-Benz GLA 200 Night Edition – RM244,888
- Mercedes-Benz GLA 250 4MATIC AMG Line – RM274,888
- Mercedes-AMG GLA 45 4MATIC – RM413,888
Mercedes-Benz GLA 200 Style
Sitting under the hood is a 1.6-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with an output of 156hp and 250Nm of torque. A 7-speed dual clutch transmission (7G-DCT) sends power to the front wheels and gives the GLA 200 Style a 0-100km/h time of 8.1 seconds. But that’s not what’s new here.
What’s new is the Style exterior package. You get 18″ 5-twin spoke light-alloy wheels, additional high-gloss chrome inserts on the radiator trim in iridium silver. The beltline trim strip and load guard are finished in chrome.
Inside, luxury seats are finished in ARTICO man-made leather and Macapá fabric. They’ve got a unique ‘tyre track’ pattern on them for a more off-road feel. The GLA 200 Style comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto through its 8″ media display.
Additionally, the GLA 200 Style variant gets the ATTENTION ASSIST system for protection against drowsy driving, Active Brake PRE-SAFE system, Active Parking Assist with PARKTRONIC and LED High Performance headlamps.

The new 1.6L 4-Cylinder Turbocharged Engine of the GLA 200 Style produces an output of 225kW (156 hp) and torque of 250Nm. It complements with the 7G-DCT transmission that keeps the turbo engine’s power on point and acceleration from 0 -100km/h in 8.1 seconds.
The Style Line exterior of the updated GLA 200 underscored the high-quality SUV look with a host of details. These include expressive 18-inch 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels and additional inserts in high-gloss chrome on the radiator trim in matt iridium silver. The beltline trim strip and the load sill guard also feature an elegant chrome finish.
On the inside, the luxury seats finished in ARTICO man-made leather and Macapá fabric feature an innovative pattern inspired by tyre tracks which lends the interior a special off-road touch
The GLA 200 Style also comes with smartphone integration that links the mobile phone with the media system via Apple® CarPlay® and Android Auto®. It provides convenient access to the most important applications from the smartphone, projected onto the 8.0-inch media display.

With the selected transmission mode, parameters such as the characteristics of the engine, transmission, suspension and steering characteristics are adjusted to suit your chosen mode.
