RECARO Podium Seat Is The Seat You Need
This might be the best Christmas present to get me this year!
The name Recaro will not be new to most of you and for those of you having a Recaro in your car or maybe in your living room, they make the best racing seats and car seats in the world. We remember our first experience with Recaro.
Our 1991 Volkswagen Corrado (pictured above) came with front factory Recaro seats with manual adjustments. Leather clad from the factory, we thought these seats were factory VW branded seats until a few months into ownership when we wanted to have the seats cleaned and the detailer removed the seats and on the underside it had a Recaro stamp on them. The perfect support for the driver is essential, because the body does hard work when driving. Sitting in the car is one of the most unfavorable postures because it forces the body to be passive. Depending on the route, driving style and surface, driving dynamic influences such as centrifugal forces, deceleration forces or vibrations must be compensated for in a wide variety of frequencies. One size fits NOT all. That is why the RECARO podium is available in two sizes thanks to the padding of different thicknesses: size M for medium-sized drivers and size L for larger drivers. Another plus: the pads are not used over the entire surface, but only at the contact points with the body – this allows passive air conditioning of the seat, the air can circulate.
