Subaru Forester Gets Ultimate Makeover at Singapore Motor Show
The Subaru Forester started life off as a bit of an oddball. It was a crossover ahead of its time, adopting a body design that was somewhere between a wagon and an SUV. But as the times rolled by, the Forester was assigned the role of mid-sized SUV, becoming one of the core, high volume products in the Subaru line-up.
While its appeal in the public sphere increased, some old-school Forester enthusiasts felt it had lost its shine and become a bit bland.
To counter these claims, Motor Image kind of went all out with the modifications. They created and showcased this: The Subaru Forester Ultimate Customised Kit Special Edition.
This concept showcase is not for sale, and no details were shared. But here’s what we observed.
EXTERIOR
Red decals on hood and front bumper lower lip.
STI side skirts with red accents.
20″ Enkei alloy rims in with 5 twin spokes.
Tinted taillights.
Red accents on lower bumper lip. Possibly larger chrome finished exhaust tip.
INTERIOR
Alcantara wrapped dashboard and centre console. STI branded gearknob and switchgear with red accents.
Alcantara and leather wrapped seats.
Carbon fibre door cards with red stitching, alcantara wrapped touch points with red stitching.
Two large Pioneer displays for rear passenger entertainment. Black headliner.
Focal Audio sound system with a D-Class Amplifier and a subwoofer.
