Peugeot, Citroën and DS Prices Revised for 2020 in Malaysia
PSA brands represented by Naza Group in Malaysia, Peugeot, Citroën and DS have all received new SST-free prices following the government’s announcement of a sales tax exemption of 100% on CKD cars and 50% on CBU cars. What might surprise many Malaysians unfamiliar with PSA products is that most of these cars are locally-assembled in Gurun.
That being said, their sales tax percentage reduction is not quite as substantial as it has been on other locally-assembled vehicles. Most hover below the 4% mark, save for the Citroën C3 Aircross 1.2 Puretech which gets a price reduction of nearly 5%. The largest actual price decrease comes from the DS 7, which goes down in price from RM259,888 to RM249,576.46. That’s a price drop of more than RM10,000. Here’s what the prices will look like for the rest of 2020.
