Audi e-tron GT Premiers, Set To Take On Tesla Model S

Audi has been rather aggressive with their electrification strategy. They were among the first of the big three German premium marques to reveal and start selling a fully-electric SUV, which they called the “e-tron”. It went into production in 2020 and was accompanied by an “e-tron Sportback”, which took the SUV in a new design direction. Now, they’ve got a direct competitor to the Tesla Model S with an all-new electric platform called the “e-tron GT“.

The overall design of the Audi e-tron GT can trace its roots back to the Audi Prologue concept in 2014/15. But the final shape of the 4-door coup√© was first teased in March 2018, and it wasn’t long before the model went into its prototype phase.
