Aston Martin DBX ‘The One Edition’ Lands In Malaysia
It has the biggest wheels ever fitted on an Aston Martin
Aston Martin Kuala Lumpur has introduced yet another specially customised DBX for the Malaysian market. Called The One Edition, it follows the Intrepid Aura and Arden Green editions introduced in 2020 and 2021, respectively.
What’s special about this edition is that it comes in the same Concours Blue exterior colour that the Aston Martin One-77 wore on its world debut back in 2008. According to Aston Martin Kuala Lumpur, this is the one and only DBX in Malaysia that comes in this shade, hence the name.
The exclusive colour is complemented by the satin black fully forged “Halo Diamond Turned” wheels, which measure 23 inches in diameter, making them the biggest ever fitted to an Aston Martin.
Inside, you’ll find a two-tone Oxford Tan and Onyx Black leather, which Aston Martin Kuala Lumpur says is a nod to equestrian and fine saddlery.
Like the standard version, the DBX The One Edition is powered by a Mercedes-AMG sourced 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 that makes 550 PS and 700 Nm of torque. It does, however, gets an upgrade in the form of a sport exhaust system.
Transmitting this power and torque to the ground is a nine-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox, which works with an all-wheel drive system with an active central differential and an electronic rear limited slip differential (eDiff). This allows the SUV to complete the 0-100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds before maxing out at 291 km/h.
Pricing (excluding duties and taxes) for the DBX The One Edition starts from RM1.1 million, a hefty premium of RM282,000 over the standard version. Whether or not it’s worth it, we’ll let the lucky owner decide.

After the announcement of removing the paint colour from DBX’s colour palette globally, we decided to spec the DBX with Concours Blue which makes it the one and only in Malaysia.
Aside from the unique shade, DBX The One Edition also features the 23 Inch Forged – Satin Black Halo Diamond Turned. The largest and most imposing wheel ever fitted to an Aston Martin. The fully forged 23″ wheel brings a new assertiveness to the visual graphic and performance of DBX. Being one of the lightest wheels available, the 23″ wheel delivers the ultimate high performance capability for DBX. Finished in satin black, enclosed within a contrast of halo diamond turned rim. The 23” wheel is the optimum choice for a style conscious or driving focused customer.
As for the interior, we created a duotone environment, mixing of subtly detailed Oxford Tan and Onyx Black leather hints at the equestrian and fine saddlery. It emphasized a refined and crafted atmosphere.
The selection of the exterior specification and personalization options improves the sporting DNA in this customization unit which includes the exterior gloss black package, sport exhaust upgrade, and the forged wheels.
Aston Martin DBX is available from the base price of RM 818,000.00, while Aston Martin DBX The One Edition priced from RM 1,100,000.00 (both price stated excluding duties and taxes).
