Ford Ranger XLT Plus Special Edition Coming To Malaysia
Ford Ranger XLT Plus Special Edition arrives in Malaysia early next month.
With the introduction of the all-new Ford Ranger around the corner, Sime Darby Auto Connexion has introduced a new variant to the outgoing model called the Ford Ranger XLT Plus Special Edition. It is built on the XLT Plus variant, meaning it comes with the same 2.0L Single-Turbo engine and 10-speed automatic transmission with 180PS and 420Nm of torque. It costs RM136,888 but will only be in showrooms on the 10th of March 2022. From the 24th of February to 27th February 2022, a special preview of the model will be held at the Ground Floor of the Centre Court of Queensbay Mall in Penang.
What’s new with this Special Edition?
Outside, the Ford Ranger XLT Plus Special Edition comes with a slightly refreshed face with a new Ford Block-Letter Front Grille design. It also gets more pronounced fender flares and a redesigned sports bar.
Enhanced exterior and interior features on the Ford Ranger XLT Plus Special Edition distinguish it from the rest of the pack while delivering premium comfort and style with extra convenience. The refreshed exterior makes a bold, forward-looking and powerful statement with a new Ford Block-Letter Front Grille design, more pronounced fender flares and redesigned sports bars around back. There are changes to the interior as well. This includes new illuminated front scuff plates with the Ranger logo. There’s also a in-built digital video recorder (DVR) with a built-in polarised filter which can connect to smartphones wirelessly and this comes with a 32GB SD card.
The Ford Ranger XLT Plus Special Edition is available in 5 colours:
Absolute Black, Aluminium Metallic, Arctic White, Lightning Blue and Meteor Grey.

Sime Darby Auto Connexion (SDAC), the sole distributor for Ford in Malaysia, today announced the official price and availability of a new special edition Ford Ranger XLT Plus. Priced at RM136,888, the Ford Ranger XLT Plus Special Edition is now open for booking.
Display units will hit all Ford showrooms nationwide starting 10 March 2022. However, Ranger fans, truck enthusiasts and members of the public who want to get a first look can head on to the Ground Floor, Centre Court at Queensbay Mall in Penang where one unit of the special edition will be on preview from 24 to 27 February 2022.

The Ford Ranger XLT Plus Special Edition comes in five colour options – Absolute Black, Aluminium Metallic, Arctic White, Lightning Blue and Meteor Grey. As with the entire Ranger line-up, it comes with a Ford’s new five-year manufacturer’s warranty or 160,000km, whichever comes first.
