All-New Honda Integra Fully-Revealed Under Acura Brand In US
The Integra nameplate was revived last year and now the production model is ready for sale under Acura.
The 2023 Acura Integra has been revealed in the US market about 3-4 months after a controversial near-production model was shown. The newly revived Integra is a driver-focused 5-door liftback with ‘generous rear legroom’ that is powered by the Civic Si’s 1.5-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with an output of 200 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 260Nm of torque between 1,800 – 5,000 rpm.
A CVT with Step Shift programming is standard, but a close-ratio 6-speed manual with Rev-Matching and Limited Slip Differential is available. A new coil type exhaust system has been introduced for a more engaging sound experience.
The Integra features an ultra rigid ACE body structure and a sport-tuned chassis with an aluminium hood to reduce its weight. The integra has fully-independent suspension, performance brakes and a precise variable-ratio steering.
The Adaptive Damper System gives drivers control over damping characteristics with individual customisations available in settings or presets of Comfort, Normal and Sport through the vehicle’s Integrated Dynamics System.
These driving modes also change the throttle response, CVT mapping, steering response and gauge colours. Optionally, in-cabin sound can be customised on higher trim levels.
The Acura Integra gets a 10.2″ digital instrument cluster, USB-C charging, powered and heated seats, with options such as a heads-up display, wireless phone charging, Amazon Alexa Built-in, and a 16-speaker ELS Studio sound system.
