The trend towards a 4×4 lifestyle has been gaining popularity in recent years, and more people are choosing to own a pickup for work, family, and weekend adventures. The Ford Ranger Getaways offer a fresh and endearing way to celebrate Mother’s Day this year, as well as a chance to meet and bond with like-minded individuals and fellow Ranger owners.
The first getaway is “A Trip Through Nature at Gunung Jerai” on May 6th, 2023. This one-day trip takes you through the mountains of Kedah, where you’ll enjoy the thrill of driving up partially steep slopes on the way to the peak of Gunung Jerai with the Ford Ranger convoy. Along the way, you’ll experience the excitement of tackling 4×4 challenges such as Hill Descent Control, Hill Launch Assist, and Side Slope at Bukit Kuang with a professional driving instructor. At the peak, an open-air dining experience awaits with a panoramic view of the coastline and Kedah’s endless paddy fields. Nature enthusiasts can revel in the sights and sounds of our diverse rainforest by joining a 30-minute guided hike across paved stairs towards the Alur Naga Falls.
The second getaway is “Chase the Sunrise in Cameron Highlands” on May 27th-28th, 2023. This two-day trip takes you on a grand highland tour, where you’ll experience the lesser-known trails and routes up Cameron Highlands. You’ll convoy with other Ranger owners and their companions on a scenic drive on some of the best roads in the country. Upon arrival at a charming resort destination, you can enjoy getting to know your fellow travelers over a day of fun activities, including a barbeque party and a movie under the stars. The real highlight of this trip is the sunrise chase on day two. Travelers will set out at the break of the day and convoy 40 km to a “mystery” viewpoint to witness the spectacular sunrise overlooking a sea of clouds.
Both getaways are customised group trips organised by Sime Darby Auto ConneXion (SDAC), the sole distributor of Ford in Malaysia, to offer an immersive experience through which customers can discover the versatility of the Ranger Life with like-minded individuals or unlock the potential of their Rangers.
The Gunung Jerai trip is available in two packages. The Individual & Couple Package is priced at RM456.02 per person while the Family Package costs RM1,716.49 for four adults. Meanwhile, pricing for the Cameron Highlands adventure starts from RM1,047.77 per person. Both getaways can accommodate up to four persons per vehicle, and all prices are inclusive of insurance for travelers aged one to 80 years. Children aged 16 and below can travel for free.
Next-Generation Ranger owners can enjoy a 30 percent discount on one Ford Ranger Getaways trip with their Inner Circle privilege card code. Slots for all Ford Ranger Getaways are limited on a first-come, first-served basis, so don’t wait to book your trip!
