Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 4Matic Launched In Malaysia For RM429,888

The all new Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 4Matic is the sole variant in Malaysia

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has today unveiled the highly-anticipated, all-new Mercedes-Benz GLC, in the sole 300 4Matic variant fully imported to continue leading its segment and this capable and luxurious vehicle is fully loaded and is ready for anything.

Present at the launch event, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia President and CEO, Sagree Sardien, stated, “As we welcome the all-new GLC to Malaysia, we are thrilled to continue its iconic success story into the future. As the best-selling SUV from Mercedes-Benz, the GLC has already found a strong following in Malaysia, with over 12,000 units sold since 2016.”

“The GLC’s combination of dynamic driving enjoyment, modern design, and advanced features like the off-road cockpit and MBUX Augmented Reality navigation promise to thrill adventurers and families alike in Malaysia. With unparalleled control over challenging terrains, the new GLC sets a new standard in luxury SUVs, delivering a seamless driving experience.” She added.

Moreover, the all-new Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 4Matic looks very dynamic with the AMG-line trim both in the interior as well as the exterior which add an especially distinct look with a blend of rugged off-roading and refined elegance. The wide radiator grille and three pointed star in the centre give it an especially imposing look when you see it in your rear view mirror too.

The all-new Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 4Matic comes with DIGITAL LIGHT, a revolutionary headlamp technology made for improved visibility in all conditions without obnoxiously blinding other drivers on the road. The car is now also 60mm longer and 4mm lower than before and has wider tracks both in the front and in the rear while retaining its overall width of 1,890mm.

The interior of the all-new Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 4matic is also just as luxurious and sporty as the exterior and features black Artico leather as standard while limited CBU models are available in a two-tone black and sienna-brown. All models come with AMG sports pedals and an overall spacious and comfortable cabin with extremely generous 620 litres of luggage space.

On top of that, the flat bottom steering wheel sits in front of a 12.3 inch fully loaded digital driver display while the floating central infotainment screen measures 11.9 inches with three circular air-con vents above it. To be honest, I prefer this to the dual screen set up so I hope Mercedes-Benz uses this design in more cars too.

The all-new Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 4Matic is powered by a 2.0 litre 4-cylinder engine making 258Ps and 400Nm of torque which gives the car a century sprint time of 6.2 seconds and a top speed of 240km/h and is also available as a mild hybrid with 48-volt technology and a second generation integrated starter-generator. The vehicle also includes Guard 360° vehicle protection among other key safety features.
