Renault Zoe Pricing and Variants

The new Renault Zoe is available in two variants, each catering to different preferences and budgets. The base variant, Zoe R110, is priced at RM165,000 on the road without insurance. For those seeking additional features and enhanced performance, the higher-spec Zoe R135 is available at RM179,000 on the road without insurance.

Impressive Performance and Extended Range

The Zoe now comes with a larger 52kWh battery that fits in the same-sized pack as before but provides a 20% increase in range to 395km for the R110 variant. The more powerful R135 variant gets 386km of range on the WLTP cycle. As the names suggest, the Zoe R110 features and electric motor with an output of 110PS and 225Nm of torque while the R135 features a more powerful motor with 135PS and 245Nm of torque. The R110 gets from 0-100km/h in 11.4 seconds with a max speed of 135km/h while the R135 does the century sprint in 9.5 seconds while having a top speed of 140km/h.

Fast and Convenient Charging

Renault Zoe takes the lead with its class-leading 0-100 percent charge time of only three hours via AC charging at 22 kW. It also supports up to 50kW DC fast charging via a CCS2 connection, which gets the battery from 10 to 80 percent in 70 minutes. The Zoe can be driven with maximum brake regen in ‘B’ mode for better driving range.

Sleek Design and Modernized Interior

The new Zoe features a distinctive and fresh design while keeping to the same dimensions (4,087 mm long, 1,562 mm tall, 1,945 mm wide). This time around, the hood has been made to look more sculpted with a holographic Renault diamond as the charging port.

There are new bumpers and vents, Pure Vision full LED headlights, dynamic turn signals and also turn signal reminders in the side mirrors. The Renault Zoe also features new 5-spoke 16″ diamond-cut alloy wheels with brake discs all around.

Inside, you can look forward to a new customisable 10″ digital instrument cluster with an eco-meter and GPS indications as well as a depth of field effect. A 9.3″ Renault Easy Link infotainment system is also present with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth and a 6-speaker setup.

Both variants of the new Renault Zoe come equipped with convenient features and innovative design elements. Electrically adjustable mirrors, rear parking sensors, an electronic e-shifter, and an automatic parking brake add to the convenience and safety of the vehicle. Enjoy full-LED interior lighting, automatic climate control, and a new ergonomic control panel for a modern and comfortable driving experience. The Zoe R135 variant offers additional features such as two rear-seat USB ports, an electrochromic rear-view mirror, power folding mirrors, a reverse camera, and front parking sensors. These enhancements further enhance the practicality and convenience of the Zoe R135 model.

Renault’s commitment to sustainability is evident in the new Zoe. The vehicle showcases the innovative use of sustainable materials, including a 100 percent recycled fabric upholstery made from carded yarn. This unique upholstery is manufactured from safety belt scrap and plastic waste (PET) materials, adhering to circular economy principles and reducing CO2 emissions by over 60 percent.

The Zoe R110 variant features the new recycled fabric upholstery in black, while the Zoe R135 boasts black combination leather-fabric seats. The same recycled fabric upholstery is incorporated into a horizontal band across the center of the dashboard, adding a touch of eco-friendly elegance. The entire dashboard has been redesigned with new, soft, and supple high-quality materials, providing a refined and comfortable atmosphere. The integration of different screens enhances the user experience.

Renault has taken steps to enhance ergonomics in the new Zoe. The cruise control buttons are now conveniently located behind the steering wheel, ensuring easy access and control. Recycled PET materials are also used in the steering wheel, further reflecting the vehicle’s sustainable approach.

To create a quieter and more enjoyable ride, Renault has equipped the new Zoe with an acoustic windshield, reducing noise from the outside environment. Combined with the electric motor, this feature enhances the overall comfort of the driving experience.

The new Zoe offers increased storage options. The center console now provides twice as much storage capacity, including two cup holders and a tray for wireless phone charging. The boot space remains unchanged at 338 liters, providing ample room for luggage and everyday items.
