The facelifted Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 4MATIC Coupé is now in Malaysia.

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia this morning introduced the new Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 4MATIC+ Coupé alongside the all-new GLC 300 4MATIC Coupé.

Bettina Plangger, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Mercedes-Benz Cars Malaysia & SEA II, proudly introduces the new GLE 53, emphasizing its unique blend of dynamism and visual allure.

At the heart of the Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 4MATIC+ Coupé lies a robust 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine with a twin-scroll turbocharger, producing a powerful 435 horsepower. Through meticulous AMG development, the maximum torque has been increased from 520 Nm to an impressive 560 Nm, resulting in a dynamic acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.0 seconds.

This exceptional engine is electrified with an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) and a 48-volt electrical system, ensuring a seamless driving experience. The AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL minimizes rolling movements, guaranteeing superior driving comfort.

The exterior of the new AMG GLE seamlessly blends sportiness with practicality, showcasing hallmark AMG class like never before. The redesigned daytime running lights and Multibeam LED headlamps not only enhance visibility but also exude a sense of luxury. The front apron features expressive side air intakes, and the iconic radiator grille in AMG design immediately communicates the power under the bonnet.

The rear boasts revised LED tail lamps and a two-pipe exhaust system, accentuated by the AMG spoiler lip. The 22-inch AMG cross-spoke forged wheels and illuminated running boards contribute to the sporty aesthetic, while the AMG Night package adds a touch of high-gloss black elegance.

The Ambient lighting with an animated AMG logo projection welcomes the driver and passenger into a world of sophistication.

Inside the Mercedes-AMG GLE, the dynamic character continues to impress. Angular air vents with chrome louvres, inspired by the Mercedes-Maybach GLS, greet passengers as they enter. The dashboard and door beltlines in ARTICO man-made leather, along with AMG carbon-fiber trim, showcase the vehicle’s high-quality interior.

Multicontour front seats, AMG nappa leather upholstery, and the AMG Performance steering wheel in nappa leather combine to provide a premium driving experience. The head-up display keeps the driver’s focus on the road, while the Burmester® 3D surround sound system offers personalized sound preferences.

THERMOTRONIC automatic climate control with four climate zones ensures passenger comfort, and the temperature-controlled cup holder in the center console adds an extra touch of convenience. The widescreen cockpit features two digital color displays, each with a 12.3-inch screen.

The Mercedes-AMG GLE is equipped with an array of cutting-edge technology and safety features, ensuring a top-tier driving experience. The MBUX Interior Assistant recognizes driver and passenger hand and arm movements to activate selected functions instantly. The MBUX Augmented Reality Navigation connects the virtual and real worlds, aiding drivers in complex traffic situations.
