Isuzu D-Max Selected To Help JPN Access Remote Orang Asli Villages
JPN selects the Isuzu D-Max 3.0L to get to the most remote villages in Peninsular Malaysia.
The National Registration Department (JPN) has partnered with Isuzu Malaysia to bolster their outreach to remote Orang Asli villages for a crucial citizenship registration exercise. The Isuzu D-Max, a renowned and award-winning pick-up truck, is set to play a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency and capabilities of this significant task.
Isuzu D-Max: A Trusted Ally
The Director General of JPN, En. Zamri bin Misman, recently received three units of the Isuzu D-Max 3.0-litre Automatic model in a ceremony in Kuala Rompin. Chief Operating Officer of Isuzu Malaysia, Mr. Kenkichi Sogo, highlighted the trustworthiness of Isuzu vehicles in his address, emphasizing their proven reputation as reliable partners for diverse tasks.
“Isuzu pick-up trucks have proudly earned recognition for being capable vehicles in all kinds of challenging terrain. Isuzu’s ability to get the job done has been second to none, and we are confident that these new D-Max trucks will be able to serve the needs of JPN in their tasks,” stated Sogo.
Key Features Of The Isuzu D-Max
1. Robust Engine and Advanced Four-Wheel Drive
The Isuzu D-Max is equipped with a powerful yet efficient 3.0-litre engine, seamlessly mated to an advanced four-wheel drive system. The inclusion of a differential lock ensures superior off-road traction, making it an ideal companion for traversing challenging terrains.
2. Class-Leading Water Wading Ability
One of the standout features of the Isuzu D-Max is its class-leading 800mm water wading ability. This capability empowers the vehicle to confidently navigate streams, rivers, or flooded roads, ensuring the safe and secure transportation of the team to their destination and back.
Serving the Nation
The three Isuzu D-Max vehicles will be stationed at the JPN offices in Kuala Mu, Perak, Gua Musang, Kelantan, and Kuala Rompin in Pahang. Their primary mission is to collaborate with the Jabatan Kemajuan Orang Asli (JAKOA) and enter remote Orang Asli villages for the registration of villagers, particularly focusing on newborns within those regions.
Equipped for the Mission
To guarantee the safe passage of the vehicle and its passengers, each Isuzu D-Max has been meticulously fitted with essential accessories, including an electric winch, bull bars, a canopy, and mud terrain tires. These additions underscore Isuzu’s commitment to providing a reliable and secure means of transportation for the JPN’s critical citizenship registration exercise.
