Only 500+50 Units Of This Ducati Diavel For Bentley Will Be Built
The Ducati Diavel for Bentley will find 50 Bentley customers and 500 others from Ducati.
Ducati is working with another VW Group luxury brand after the Diavel 1260 and Steetfighter Lamborghini editions. This time, they’re in bed with Bentley for an exclusive version of the Diavel V4. The resulting bike is being called the “Ducati Diavel for Bentley” and it’s inspired by elements of the Bentley Batur. 550 examples will be made with 50 of those being reserved for Bentley customers.
This limited edition model was designed in Centro Stile Ducati with help from Bentley designers, who took the Batur’s horizontal lines from the side view to create the bike’s look. The two-tone front grille on the side air intakes was also inspired by the Batur. In particular, the triangular rear extractors can be found on the car too. The resulting bike is finished in Scarab Green, which is a paint shade from the Bentley Mulliner palette.
The Diavel V4, which is the technical base was revised for better performance. This includes forged rims in Dark Titanium Satin with visible machined surfaces. The single-seater tail, which takes styling cues from the Batur, can be replaced with a passenger seat if required.
Other changes include carbon fibre components for the fenders, covers for the headlamp, exhaust, radiator and engine, radiator shroud, side panels and tail piece. There’s also a black Alcantara rider’s seat which takes its inspiration from the interior of the Batur. In fact the Bentley logo is embroidered on the rear pad and the dual outlet exhausts and cover have been redesigned to work with the redefined lines of the bike.
Powering the bike is a 1,158 cc V4 Granturismo engine with 168hp. You get turn-by-turn navigation, special animations for the LED matrix rear cluster too.
The Diavel for Bentley comes with a certificate of authenticity, a passenger seat and a motorcycle cover. It also has its model name and production number engraved on a plate inserted in the carbon fibre cover of the vertical head on the right side of the motorcycle. The bikes come delivered in an exclusive, personlized wooden case. A special Capsule Collection can also be purchased and this includes a jet helmet and a technical jacket.
