Orient Bambino expands on its 75th anniversary with solar power and other variants.
Orient’s beloved Bambino collection continues to evolve with two significant releases: a groundbreaking solar-powered 38mm model and a refreshed mechanical variant featuring new dial colors and complications.

Both launches include special 75th anniversary editions, demonstrating Orient‘s commitment to both innovation and heritage.
Solar-Powered Orient Bambino 38
The new Bambino 38 marks a significant milestone as the first solar-powered watch in the series.




With a compact 38.4mm case and 10.5mm thickness, this model maintains the collection’s signature elements while introducing modern technology:
- Solar-powered movement with 6-month power reserve
- Impressive accuracy of +/-20 seconds per month
- Five dial options: ivory, black, white, pale green, and pale pink
- Innovative apple leather straps made from upcycled waste
- Easy-exchange strap system with 20mm width

The 75th anniversary limited edition (750 pieces) features a white dial with blue hands, vintage Orient cursive logo, and comes with both beige nubuck and calf leather straps.




Mechanical Orient Bambino Updates
The mechanical Bambino line expands with new casual-oriented designs and a day/night complication:
- In-house F6724 automatic movement (40-hour power reserve)
- Larger 40.5mm case size with 12.3mm thickness
- Four new sunburst dial colors: green, navy blue, bordeaux, and beige
- Day/night display variant with sun and moon disk
- See-through exhibition caseback
- 21mm easy-exchange strap system

Two 75th anniversary editions are available: a standard version limited to 9,500 pieces and a day/night display version limited to 5,500 pieces. Both feature white dials with pink gold indices, blue hands, and vintage Orient logo.



Both new Bambino collections maintain the series’ distinctive design elements, including curved dials, domed crystal glass, and slender lugs, while offering enhanced functionality and modern features like the easy-exchange strap system.
