GWM is surprising the audience at Shanghai Auto 2025 with the unveiling of the 4.0T V8 hybrid, a twin-turbocharged powertrain with P2 electrification and their range of chunky and stylish premium 4×4 vehicles in various sizes and powertrains.
GWM made a powerful statement with the debut of its six major sub-brands: HAVAL, WEY, TANK, ORA, POER, and SOUO.






For the first time, GWM has brought an indoor off-road course right into the heart of the exhibition, creating a must-visit attraction for attendees. Beyond the show floor, GWM is also hosting professional off-road and on-road test drives, offering a full-spectrum showcase of its vehicles’ exceptional performance across a variety of real-world driving conditions.
GWM Brings Off-Road Adventure Indoors at Auto Shanghai
In a bold and innovative move, GWM created an indoor off-road experience at Auto Shanghai, centered around the GWM TANK 300.
The custom-built dynamic installation replicates a variety of challenging terrains, featuring rolling hills, winding turns, and rugged surfaces, allowing visitors to fully immerse themselves in the thrill of off-road driving without ever leaving the exhibition hall.
The president of GWM international Parker Shi led the first demonstration, showcasing the GWM TANK 300’s outstanding off-road capabilities to an enthusiastic crowd.
Excitement quickly spread as numerous international guests eagerly joined the experience, with the energy at the venue reaching new heights.
Captured through in-vehicle GoPro footage, the amazement of overseas visitors was clear, as they marveled at the unique indoor setup: “How did they manage to bring an off-road test drive indoors?” they exclaimed.






After their rides, many couldn’t contain their excitement, sharing their impressions at the interactive display area: “GWM Off-Road Life—really excited!”
