New BMW X3 2.0 xDrive M Sport In Malaysia For RM349k

Since its debut in 2003, the first generation BMW X3 right up to the outgoing model has seamlessly combined sporty dynamics for everyday driving with exceptional comfort for long-distance journeys

This New 4th generation BMW X3 was first shown in June 2024 and now it takes the next step in its evolution, featuring a bold new design language characterised by expansive surfaces and sharp contours. Its modern exterior is defined by clean, strong lines that highlight the monolithic, dynamic stance of this Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV).

Inside, the focus point is on technology, with the BMW Curved Display and BMW Interaction Bar at the forefront. Powered by the new BMW Operating System 9 with QuickSelect, drivers can effortlessly access a variety of entertainment options, including videos, music, and gaming, while interacting with the vehicle through touch, voice control, or the BMW Controller.

Exterior-wise from the front, the New BMW X3 2.0 xDrive M Sport showcases a tall bonnet typical of the SAV design, with a kidney grille in Pearl Chrome featuring two individual elements that make a striking impression – especially when illuminated with the BMW Iconic Glow.

New LED headlights with L-shaped lighting elements flank the grille, enhancing its modern appeal. The side profile emphasises its sporty character, with an elongated bonnet, long wheelbase, and short overhangs.

This is further accentuated by details, such as the window graphic that rises from the centre of the rear side door, alongside a reinterpreted Hofmeister kink.

Standard 19-inch M alloy wheels in Y-spoke style with 1035 M bicolour finish add to the dynamic presence, framed by large wheel arches that emphasise the vehicle’s athletic stance.

Inside, the New BMW X3 2.0 xDrive M Sport features a minimalist yet expressive interior, defined by a clean, modern look and high-quality materials. At its centre is the frameless BMW Curved Display, seamlessly integrating a 12.3-inch instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch control display, angled slightly toward the driver.

This in combination with the BMW Head-Up Display, provides the driver relevant vehicle information on the drive. Below the BMW Curved Display, the illuminated BMW Interaction Bar offers dynamic touch control to various functions and ambient lighting with 15 colour options.

Two triangular trim elements extend from the instrument panel into the doors, creating a cohesive wraparound effect. The adjustable three-spoke M leather steering wheel features a flattened bottom section for enhanced ingress comfort. Sports seats are also included as standard for driver and passenger – with electric seat adjustment and memory function.

Under the hood, the New BMW X3 2.0 xDrive M Sport is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with 48-volt mild hybrid technology, delivering a combined output of 140 kW (190 hp) and 310 Nm of torque.

Paired with an eight-speed Steptronic transmission, the addition of xDrive as standard replaces the rear-wheel drive of its predecessor, enhancing the vehicle’s all-wheel-drive capability and offering improved traction and stability across a variety of road conditions.

This makes the New BMW X3 2.0 xDrive M Sport not only more capable on winding roads and challenging terrains but also more reliable for everyday driving. The SAV accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 215 km/h.

Did you know that the outgoing BMW X3 was priced from RM319k which is just RM30k less than this latest version equipped with higher technology and features.
