Harley-Davidson Malaysia Community Embarks On Three Historic International Expeditions

The Malaysian Harley-Davidson community embark on an international expedition.

The Malaysian Harley-Davidson community has officially launched into a historic chapter of adventure motorcycling, kicking off three monumental international expeditions. Uniting local independent motorcycle clubs alongside official brand channels under the global banner of the Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.), these ambitious journeys are fueled by the collective support of the Didi Group, Harley-Davidson Malaysia, and the official dealer network—comprising the H.O.G. Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, and Johor Bahru Chapters.

Spanning an incredible combined distance of more than 49,000 kilometers across Asia and Europe, these epic rides represent the ultimate manifestation of the H.O.G. spirit: endurance, raw adventure, and a borderless global brotherhood. If successfully completed, these community riders intend to secure a permanent place in local motorcycling history with official certification from the Malaysia Book of Records.

Expedition 1: The Merdeka Ride 2026 (Kuala Lumpur to London)

The most expansive of the three journeys is the Merdeka Ride 2026, an ambitious 100-day overland expedition stretching from Kuala Lumpur all the way to London. Proudly organized and led by Shadowfax MC under the guidance of its founder, Dato’ Anand, the convoy officially departed yesterday on 24 May 2026 and is scheduled to conclude on 31 August 2026.

The riders are set to conquer approximately 24,700 kilometers, navigating a demanding route that traverses 25 countries and 69 states. The journey moves through Southeast Asia, China, Central Asia, the rugged Caucasus region, and Western Europe, culminating in a historic arrival in London right on Malaysia’s Independence Day.

Expedition 2: HRB MC 2026 China Southwest Riding Tour

Taking a northerly route, members of the Heaven Respect Brotherhood Motorcycle Club launched their HRB MC 2026 China Southwest Riding Tour following an official flag-off on 29 April 2026.

This 10,000-kilometer expedition takes riders deep into the challenging topography of China’s southwest region. A major highlight of this tour is a high-altitude milestone: the team aims to establish themselves as the very first Harley-Davidson group to cross the Huajiang Grand Canyon Bridge, a marvel of modern engineering widely recognized as the world’s highest bridge.

Expedition 3: Johor Bahru to Mount Kailash Motorcycle Expedition

The third journey launched just today, 25 May 2026, bringing together a combined coalition of riders from H.O.G. Johor Bahru, Muscle Rider MC, Shadowfax MC, and Jivathma MC. This challenging route covers more than 15,000 kilometers, taking the convoy through Thailand, Laos, and Yunnan Province before ascending into the extreme terrain of Tibet. The ultimate destination is the sacred Mount Kailash, which sits at an imposing 6,638 meters above sea level, serving as a true test of mechanical endurance and rider fortitude.

The Power of the H.O.G. Umbrella

While these three expeditions are spearheaded by distinct motorcycle clubs and individual teams, they are bound together by the structural backing of the official Harley-Davidson network in Malaysia.

It highlights a unique aspect of local riding culture: how independent clubs and official H.O.G. chapter members can seamlessly collaborate under a singular vision to put Malaysian adventure motorcycling on the global map. Enthusiasts can track the progress of these history-making convoys through official H.O.G. Malaysia social media channels as they ride toward the Malaysia Book of Records.
