The Suzuki Fronx Sport is a 2nd variant to join the line-up and comes it at a lower price than before.
Suzuki Cars Malaysia has launched a new variant of the Fronx, known as the Fronx Sport. While it’s mostly the same hybrid crossover as before, the new Sport variant brings a bodykit for a more eye-catching exterior outlook. Plus, the new variant is priced at RM130,888, which is RM10,000 lower than the original model launched at in Malaysia back in November 2025.
The Sport bodykit includes four factory-fitted pieces and each of these is finished in gloss black. The four pieces are:
- a front under garnish
- a rear spoiler
- a rear diffuser
- side under garnish pieces
You’ll also get decals, a roof wrap, special contrast paint finishes, 17″ alloy wheels wrapped in Continental UltraContact UC7 tyres, as well as a front driving video recorder.
Besides that, it doesn’t appear as if the Fronx Sport has changed by much. It’s still powered by a frugal 1.5L hybrid petrol four cylinder motor capable of delivering 700km of range on a single tank of fuel. The power output is 103PS and 138Nm of torque. The Fronx Sport comes with a 308L boot, a 9″ touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, a heads-up display, a two-tone fabric and pleather upholstery. It also comes with a full ADAS suite and received a 5-star ASEAN NCAP rating.
The bigger piece of news, at least for us, is that the original Fronx model has now received a sensible price cut. As we mentioned before, the Suzuki Fronx Hybrid originally launched in Malaysia for RM147,888. That price was a little on the steep side, and so it has been revised to RM118,000. The Fronx Sport is sold in just two exclusive dual-tone exterior color options: Pearl Snow White and Cool Black. The standard variant continues to offer a wider palette of seven diverse color configurations.
Warranty and Aftersales Support
To secure peace of mind for local buyers transitioning to hybrid technology, Naza Eastern Motors backs the vehicle with a standard 3-year or 100,000 km manufacturing vehicle warranty. Additionally, the Fronx Sport receives a separate, extended 5-year or 100,000 km battery warranty for the hybrid cell system.
