The Ford Everest Platinum is now in Malaysia with the option of a 3.0L V6 turbodiesel engine.
Sime Darby Auto ConneXion-Ford (Auto ConneXion-Ford), the sole distributor of Ford vehicles in Malaysia, has officially accelerated its SUV market leadership with a major expansion of the Everest range. Unveiled at the Sime Motors Motor Expo 2026, the company introduced three new variants:

Sitting at the absolute apex of the range, the New Ford Everest Platinum 3.0L brings massive mechanical muscle to local roads. It marks the debut of a highly anticipated 3.0-litre DOHC V6 turbocharged diesel engine to the Everest line-up after it debuted in Malaysia in the Ranger. This motor outputs 250PS and 600Nm of torque and it’s paired to the familiar 10-speed automatic.

The Enhanced Ford Everest Sport 2.0L: Athletic and Adventurous
The New Ford Everest Sport 2.0L targets active families and off-road enthusiasts with an athletic aesthetic. Powered by the same 125 kW (170 PS) and 405 Nm 2.0-litre turbo diesel mill, it delivers strong low-end torque for excellent drivability.
The Sport variant is highly adaptive, now coming equipped with six selectable drive modes (including dedicated Mud/Ruts and Sand parameters) via its ESOF part-time 4WD system to tackle challenging weekend trails. Visually, the Sport features a model-specific grille, C-clamp LED headlights, and eye-catching bold black exterior accents.
Inside, the cabin introduces newly designed, sporty two-tone seats for a dynamic look. It rides on 20-inch alloys and can be ordered in Command Grey, Lightning Blue, Arctic White, or Absolute Black.
