Proton has launched an upgraded 3S (sales, service and spare parts) centre in Sungai Dua, Butterworth, Penang, as part of its on-going nationwide revamp exercise. Operated by Top Zone Auto Gallery Sdn Bhd, the outlet was operating as a 2S (service and spare parts) centre previously.
The whole stretch of shop lot which this 3S outlet occupies, costs approximately RM1.5 million, a worthwhile investment, according to the CEO of Top Zone Auto Gallery Sdn Bhd, Tuan Haji Sobri Mustafa, as the new façade will be able to entice people to the outlet.
The service centre features 5 bays and 5 hoists manned by 10 experienced service staff. While waiting for their cars to be serviced, customers may treat themselves to coffee and free Wifi in the lounge area.
According to Proton, the upgraded outlet is anticipated to increase service throughput by 25%, with anticipated positive sales growth projected for the first year.
The outlet is located at 51-59, Jalan Sungai Dua Utama 1, Taman Sungai Dua Utama, 13800, Sungai Dua, Butterworth. The sales office operates 7-days a week (8am-8pm Monday to Saturday, 9am-5.15pm Sunday) while the service centre is opened Monday to Saturday (8am-5.15pm) and closed on Sundays.
