This collision took place in front of a petrol station in the Bagan Serai region
Three individuals were injured while two others escaped unharmed in a two-vehicle collision that occurred early this morning in front of a petrol station on Jalan Bagan Serai. The accident, which took place around 6:57 a.m., involved a Nissan Almera and a Proton Persona that were travelling from opposite directions before colliding head-on.

According to Perak Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Director Sayani Saidon, an emergency call was received alerting authorities to the incident. A rescue team from the Bagan Serai Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) was immediately dispatched to the scene. Thankfully, no casualties have been reported thus far.
Moreover, upon arrival, rescue personnel discovered that the Nissan Almera, which had four occupants, had collided directly with the Proton Persona, which was driven by a single individual. The driver of the Nissan Almera was identified as a 40-year-old Malay woman who sustained minor injuries.

Two children in the vehicle, a 12-year-old girl and a 2-year-old toddler, suffered head, leg and minor bodily injuries. Another child in the car, a 7-year-old girl, was reportedly unharmed in the crash. Fortunately, the driver of the Proton Persona was also not injured in the incident.
On top of that, rescue operations were led by the Bagan Serai BBP team under the direction of the operation chief, who conducted an initial assessment (size-up) and implemented the SAVER concept. This involved organizing and executing rescue procedures while administering first aid to the injured parties on-site.

Once stabilized, all injured victims were transported to Parit Buntar Hospital via an Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) vehicle for further medical evaluation and treatment. The rescue effort was concluded after all victims were safely handed over to hospital authorities. Thankfully all the victims were taken care of before things got worse.
In a statement following the incident, the Fire and Rescue Department urged motorists to remain cautious, particularly when driving through high-risk or busy areas. Authorities emphasized the importance of vigilance and responsible driving to prevent such accidents from occurring.
