Lamborghini Unveils All-New Temerario GT3, Marking Next Evolution in Customer Motorsport
Automobili Lamborghini has officially launched the Temerario GT3, its first-ever race car based on the new Temerario road model, reaffirming the brand’s deep commitment to international GT3 competition. Designed, developed, and manufactured entirely in-house at Lamborghini’s Sant’Agata Bolognese facility, the Temerario GT3 sets a new benchmark for customer racing vehicles this time with V8 power.

Developed from the outset with motorsport in mind, the Temerario GT3 benefits from a racing-first design philosophy that has allowed Lamborghini engineers to integrate competitive performance solutions from the earliest stages of the road car’s development. The result is a purpose-built machine engineered for speed, durability, and ease of operation across a wide range of race conditions.

At the heart of the Temerario GT3 is a re-engineered version of the road-going 4.0L twin-turbo V8, producing up to 550 hp (subject to balance-of-performance regulations). The engine features a racing-optimized turbocharging system, lightweight titanium conrods, and a flat-plane crankshaft for optimal fluid dynamics and response. Power is delivered through a bespoke six-speed transverse gearbox, with a custom Capristo exhaust and recalibrated engine mapping to ensure peak performance.

The car rides on a widened track and lengthened wheelbase compared to its predecessor. Its advanced suspension system features 6-way adjustable dampers by KW—technology shared with Lamborghini’s SC63 LMDh program—mounted to the chassis via new lightweight plates for quicker serviceability.

The aluminum spaceframe chassis, adapted from the production car, is simplified for trackside operations and fitted with a full FIA GT3-compliant roll cage. New carbon composite bodywork, designed in collaboration with Lamborghini Centro Stile, prioritizes aerodynamic performance and rapid repair with quick-release panels and modular components.

Inside, the cockpit has been refined with input from Lamborghini factory drivers, offering optimized ergonomics, updated switchgear, and a redesigned racing steering wheel tailored for endurance events. A state-of-the-art electronic control system and upgraded data logging further enhance the driver’s ability to extract performance.

The Temerario GT3 will debut at the 2026 Sebring 12 Hours, with global availability to Lamborghini customer teams shortly thereafter. The car has been developed for full compliance with international GT3 regulations and performance parity across all leading tire manufacturers.
As Lamborghini transitions from the Huracán GT3 era, customer teams will continue receiving full technical support throughout the 2025 season, ensuring continuity and competitiveness on the grid.
