Where Will Rolls-Royce Owners Go For After Sales Tomorrow

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has recently retired Quill Motorcars in Malaysia. This was on October 13, 2025, meaning the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars management is now searching for a new home for its brand in the country.

Soon after our article was published last week, we have received calls from a few current Malaysian Rolls-Royce owners who were worried about their after sales. Looks like Rolls-Royce Motor Cars did not contact these owners to update them or let them know what is happening next.

This is quite alarming as there are a number of new owners and they paid a lot of money for the ‘worlds finest automobile’.

Rolls Royce Spirit of Ecstacy

This business divorce follows internal management issues at Quill Motorcars. A new distributor is expected to be appointed soon, and BMW Group Malaysia is handling the transition.

Meanwhile, Rolls-Royce’s owner, the BMW Group,is expected to appoint a new distributor for Malaysia to handle sales and service for existing Rolls Royce owners.

Keep an eye on official announcements from BMW Group Malaysia or Rolls-Royce for information on the new distributor right here at www.dsf.my.

So, what are the implications for all current Malaysian Rolls-Royce owners, especially owners with cars that have active warranty?

The situation has created uncertainty for existing Rolls-Royce owners in Malaysia, particularly regarding where they can get their vehicles serviced and honoured under warranty.

Until a new distributor is appointed, Rolls-Royce and the Approved Permit holder (QMI) will need to clarify where owners can receive service and aftercare support for their million Ringgit vehicles.

Just in case you were wondering, new Rolls-Royce vehicles in Malaysia come with a standard four-year, unlimited mileage warranty.

For electric models like the Spectre, the high-voltage battery has a separate 10-year warranty, and optional extended ownership packages are available for both. For used or “Provenance” models, an additional two-year warranty may be included with servicing.

Optional ownership packages are available for an additional two, three, or five years.

Provenance Warranty: Certified pre-owned “Provenance” models from Rolls-Royce may come with an additional two-year warranty, which includes two years of servicing.

To maintain the warranty, vehicles must be serviced at authorized service centres. The warranty covers a wide range of serviceable components to minimise inconvenience to owners who have purchase the finest automobile in the world. Yes?
