Huawei and GAC have a new brand and it’s called Aistaland and their first product is the GT7.
The premium electric vehicle (EV) brand formerly known as Qijing has officially announced its English name, Aistaland, alongside the global debut of its flagship model, the GT7. A joint venture between Huawei and GAC Group, Aistaland aims to pioneer a “new land” of mobility through the integration of advanced artificial intelligence.

Aistaland GT7: Design and Dimensions
The GT7 enters the premium electric shooting brake segment with a commanding presence. It measures 5,050 mm in length, 1,980 mm in width, and 1,470 mm in height, with a substantial 3,000 mm wheelbase. This silhouette is optimized for aerodynamic efficiency while targeting a driving experience that rivals vehicles in the 1 million yuan ($145,210) class.

Super Intelligence: Huawei’s Highest-Spec Tech
Billed as a “new species for the AI era,” the GT7 serves as a showcase for Huawei’s most advanced automotive technologies:
- Next-Generation LiDAR: The GT7 is equipped with an 896-channel LiDAR—the highest specification currently in mass production. This hardware can identify obstacles as small as 14 cm from a distance of 120 meters, elevating environmental perception to image-level clarity.
- Autonomous Driving: The vehicle features the Huawei Qiankun ADS system and an architecture designed to support Level 3 autonomous driving capabilities.
- Smart Cockpit: Inside, the GT7 debuts the latest HarmonyOS smart cockpit and the Huawei Xiaoyi AI agent, offering a highly intuitive and personalized user interface.

Performance and Charging: 800V 6C Technology
The Aistaland GT7 is engineered for extreme performance, utilizing the Huawei Qiankun Chitu platform.
- Powertrain: The vehicle is equipped with a high-performance tri-motor system.
- Battery Technology: It features a customized next-generation CATL Qilin Battery.
- Charging Speed: The GT7 supports an ultra-fast 800-volt 6C charging rate, significantly reducing downtime during long-distance travel.

Production and Availability
While pre-orders have officially opened, Aistaland has yet to disclose final pricing details. The GT7 is scheduled to be showcased at the Beijing Auto Show at the end of April, with official launch and deliveries expected to commence in June 2026.

The production of the GT7 will be handled by GAC, leveraging the group’s extensive manufacturing and quality control expertise, while a dedicated Huawei Qiankun team provides technical and software support. Following the flagship shooting brake, the brand plans to release a mid-to-large-size SUV later this year.
