SAIC-GM-Wuling and Huawei launch Huajing S Luxury SUV
Prices in China range from RMB149,800 (USD21,700) to RMB193,800 (USD28,100). This positioning makes the Huajing S the only full-size six-seater SUV in the RMB 150,000 class to come standard with the full Huawei Qiankun intelligent suite.
Designed specifically for family users, the Huajing S is a product of strategic partnership between SGMW and Huawei.

Huawei Intelligence and Sensing Hardware
A primary differentiator for the Huajing S is the standard inclusion of the Huawei Qiankun ADS Pro enhanced edition across all trims. The vehicle features the industry’s first application of the Huawei Limera in-cabin Lidar-vision system, which enables high-performance perception in complex scenarios. Key capabilities demonstrated by the system include a full stop from 130km/h on highways during the day and emergency avoidance of pedestrians at 70km/h at night. At launch, the system supports Urban Navigation Assist, Highway Navigation Assist, and full-scenario intelligent parking, with a planned OTA upgrade to ADS 5 Pro.
The intelligent cockpit experience is powered by HarmonySpace 5, which allows for seamless content handoff between smartphones and the vehicle, a “Super Desktop” interface, and four-zone voice interaction.
Interior Space, Comfort, and Safety Performance
The Huajing S measures 5,235 mm in length with a 3,105 mm wheelbase, providing an interior space utilization rate of 87.4% and a lateral efficiency of 77%. The storage system includes a 423L dual-level sunken trunk, with a 168L underfloor compartment capable of holding seven 20-inch suitcases even when fully loaded with six passengers. Comfort features include first and second-row independent luxury seats with ventilation, heating, massage, and multi-directional power adjustment. The cabin is further enhanced by double-layered acoustic glass and a Harman Infinity audio system.

Safety architecture for the Huajing S utilizes Baosteel 2000MPa ultra-high-strength steel. Active safety is managed by the standard Huawei CAS 4.0 system, which includes 23 active safety capabilities. The vehicle is equipped with the Shenlian Battery 3.0, utilizing CATL cells that achieve a “zero spontaneous combustion” rating. According to technical data, the battery meets safety standards ten times more stringent than the national requirement, ensuring protection against leaks, water ingress, and thermal diffusion.
High-Performance Hybrid Powertrain
The Huajing S utilizes a 1.5T turbocharged hybrid engine paired with an intelligent four-wheel-drive system. The AWD model delivers a combined output of 386kW and a peak torque of 620Nm, enabling acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 5.2 seconds.
The two-wheel-drive version has a fuel consumption of 5.98L/100km under battery-depleted conditions. Depending on the configuration, the CLTC pure electric range reaches up to 255km, while the total comprehensive range exceeds 1100km with a full tank and charge.
Charging performance is supported by 3.5C ultra-fast charging technology, allowing the battery to replenish from 10% to 60% in just 12 minutes.
The chassis employs a front double-wishbone and rear multi-link setup, integrated with CDC electronically controlled dampers that feature a 10 ms response time. These technical specifications are intended to provide a stable and refined ride quality, bridging the gap between urban commuting efficiency and high-performance long-distance travel for large families.
