BYD Seal 07 Electric Sedan Selling Price In China Shared
Meet the BYD Seal 07 electric sports sedan and it carries the ’7’ in its name just like with a lot of its rivals. Dongfeng 007, MG 07 and the Aistland GT7. Designed to rival Tesla in all areas, this is the benchmark sports sedan for its rivals.
This is the first mid-size all-electric sedan equipped with BYD’s second-generation LFP Blade Battery and 800V high-voltage ultra-fast charging technology, positioned in the RMB150,000 to 200,000 price segment.
It features a 69.07 kWh second-generation Blade Battery, delivering a CLTC-rated combined range of up to 705km. With its 800V ultra-fast charging capability, the vehicle can recharge from 10% to 70% state of charge in just five minutes, with minimal impact on charging efficiency even in low-temperature environments.
Powering the Seal 07 EV is the world’s first integrated 12-in-1 intelligent electric drive system, producing a maximum output of 240kW and peak torque of 305Nm. Combined with BYD’s CTB (Cell-to-Body) battery-integrated-chassis technology, the vehicle achieves an impressively low energy consumption of just 10.8kWh per 100km.
Inside, the intelligent cabin runs DiLink 150 (High-end Edition), featuring a 15.6-inch adaptive rotating floating touchscreen, a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument cluster, and a W-HUD head-up display.
Both driver and front passenger seats offer multi-way power adjustment, lumbar support, and massage functions, while ventilation and heating are available for both front and rear occupants.
Additional amenities include an onboard refrigerator with temperature control from -6°C to 50°C, a 12-speaker Dynaudio HiFi audio system, and multi-color ambient lighting with dynamic effects. All trims come standard with BYD’s “God’s Eye” 5.0 advanced driver-assistance system, offering L2+ capabilities.
The top-spec 705 Flagship variant is further equipped with an NVIDIA DRIVE Orin X chip, one LiDAR unit, and the DiPilot 300 system. Its sensor suite comprises 11 cameras, three millimeter-wave radars, and 12 ultrasonic sensors, enabling advanced features such as urban NOA (Navigate on Autopilot), automated valet parking, and narrow-road U-turns.
Underpinning the vehicle is the standard Cloud Ride-C intelligent damping suspension system across all variants, which includes road-preview functionality to dynamically adjust suspension damping in real time. The Seagull 07 EV adopts a rear-mounted, rear-wheel-drive layout, striking a balance between agile handling and ride comfort.
Launched under BYD’s Ocean Network, the Seal 07 EV serves as a strategic product targeting the B-segment pure-electric market. Leveraging BYD’s vertically integrated supply chain and economies of scale, the model brings premium triple-electric (e-motor, battery, electronics) and intelligent driving technologies to consumers starting at just RMB169,900.
