The Denza B8 has been introduced to the Malaysian market with a price tag that takes premium German makes on directly.
Denza Malaysia has officially launched its highly anticipated luxury off-road SUV, the Denza B8, marking the brand’s first-ever plug-in hybrid (marketed as DMO Super Hybrid) model introduction in the country. Positioned to challenge the established premium luxury SUV landscape, the B8 brings together immense electrified performance, intelligent engineering, and elevated cabin comfort into a single sophisticated package. The Denza B8 is also known as the Fangchengbao Bao 8.
Built around three defining pillars—the DMO Super Hybrid Platform, the DiSUS-P suspension system, and a luxurious cabin experience—the model reflects the brand’s latest interpretation of intelligent luxury mobility.
The DENZA B8 Price and Variants in Malaysia
The new SUV arrives as a compelling option for premium buyers, available in two distinct interior configurations:

At the core of the DENZA B8 is the advanced DMO Super Hybrid Platform, which seamlessly pairs a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine with dual electric motors and BYD’s signature Blade Battery technology.
- Immense Power: The intelligent four-wheel drive (4WD) setup unleashes a combined output of 450 kW (approx. 612 PS) and a massive 760 Nm of torque.
- Massive Range: Utilizing a 36.8 kWh Blade Battery, the B8 offers up to 115 km of pure electric range. When combined with its 91-litre fuel tank, the total claimed range reaches a staggering 1,040 km (NEDC cycle).

To dominate challenging terrains while maintaining highway composure, the B8 features the state-of-the-art DiSUS-P Intelligent Hydraulic Body Control System.
The advanced setup enables up to 140 mm of ride height adjustment, allowing the SUV to achieve a maximum water wading depth of 890 mm. It also sharpens off-road geometry with an approach angle of 34 degrees and a departure angle of 35 degrees. Riding on substantial 275/55R20 tyres, the system actively mitigates body roll to ensure unparalleled ride stability across highways, city streets, and uneven trails alike.

The exterior of the B8 turns heads with its Starship Mecha-inspired design, distinctively outlined by Starship Wing LED daytime running lights and Energy Thruster-inspired tail lamps. Inside, the cabin shifts focus to calmness and luxury, complete with premium Nappa leather upholstery.
