MGS5 EV Vandalised In Bamboo Hills Car Park

Did You Know About The MGS5 That Was Vandalised In Bamboo Hills Car Park Recently

So far there is no widespread public news or social media reports about a MG electric car being vandalised at the Bamboo Hills car park, meaning it could be a very isolated personal issue incident, a localised dispute, or a disgruntled person taking revenge.

It just so happened that we were in the area when it happened and we took these pictures. Speaking to the security personal who were waiting for the police to arrive at the scene of the crime, they said they had security camera footage and it shows 2 men committing this terrible offence.

To date this has not reached mainstream news and we are the first to highlight it.  Meanwhile, if this happens to you …… here is what you should do.

Immediate Reaction Should Be As Follows

Do Not Move the Car: Leave the vehicle exactly as it is to preserve physical evidence and tire tracks.

Document Everything: Take clear, close-up and wide-angle photos and videos of all external damage, scratches, smashed glass, or notes left behind.

Check Your Dashcam: If your car is equipped with a 24-hour parking monitoring dashcam, download and back up the footage immediately before it overwrites.

Activating Local Security

Contact Bamboo Hills Management: Immediately alert the building security or management office. They can check their ticketless parking system logs and review CCTV footage facing the parking bays.

File a Police Report: Go to the nearest police station (such as Sentul Police District Headquarters, which covers the area) within 24 hours to file an official report. You will need this document stamped for any future insurance claims.

Check Other Vehicles Parked Nearby: Look for nearby cars equipped with continuous dash-cams; the owners might have recorded the perpetrator walking past.

So, if your vehicle or someone else’s car was just damaged in a similar type incident, taking immediate action is critical to secure evidence and protect your rights.

Meanwhile, in case you were wondering, this Morris Garage MGS5 EV was launched in Malaysia with a selling price that started from just RM109,900 with a 430km driving range.
