In celebration of the upcoming Malaysian MotoGP race, Hong Leong Yamaha Motor (HLYM) has introduced the new Y15ZR SE GP Edition, which features the famous Movistar Yamaha factory team livery.
Technical aspects of the supercub remain unchanged. Powering it is a 150 cc, single-cylinder engine that develops 15.1 hp at 8,500 rpm and 13.8 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. A five-speed manual transmission is tasked to channel the power to the rear wheel.
The suspension system comprises a telescopic fork up front and a monoshock suspension at the rear, while braking power is provided by hydraulic discs and single-piston calipers fitted at both ends.
The Y15ZR SE GP Edition is priced at RM8,891.28 (basic sales price with GST) and will be available in the market from next week onwards.
