FORD Fiesta helps drive overall November sales up 140 percent from the same month a year ago

Since its launch in Malaysia earlier this quarter, the Ford Fiesta has fueled Ford sales growth, driving total November sales up 140 percent from the same month a year ago to 407 units. The strong November results represent Ford’s highest monthly performance in Malaysia since 2005. “The new Fiesta is creating a halo effect in our showrooms,” said Simon Rock, Managing Director for Sime Darby Motors, Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore. “Vehicle sales across our Ford lineup have steadily increased since October – up 40 percent from a year ago today.”

It is recognition for our ongoing commitment to offering a wide range of vehicles that are leading in style, comfort, performance and technology,” said David Westerman, the Regional Manager, Asia Pacific, Ford Export and Growth Operations. “Ford’s latest lineup of fuel-efficient products, particularly the new Fiesta, is ultimately driving the company’s sales momentum in Malaysia.”
