SsangYong Actyon Replacement

These are early images of the replacement for the weird yet unforgettable looking Actyon pickup truck. Showing a more conventional European styling we are quite sure it will be widely received at launch.

It’s exactly 4,985mm long, 1,910mm wide and 1,755mm high, which is a similar size to the current car, says Ssangyong.

Codenamed the SUT 1, it will be unveiled at Geneva next month. Power comes from a Euro V compliant 2.0-litre diesel engine with 153bhp and 266lb.ft of torque from 1,500rpm.

The SUT 1 will be on sale in Europe by 2012 and will get both front- and four-wheel drive running gear. We’ll let you know if it’s to be sold here via Competitive Supreme S/B this year or not.
