Infiniti FX Facelift Coming To Malaysia In 2012
Infiniti has revealed a facelift design for their FX SUV. This updated version will probably be making its debut in Malaysia very soon as Tan Chong is about to start their Infiniti business. The revised FX comes with a revised front grille and front fascia design, a new meter illumination but also with plenty of standard features. Moreover, the 2012 Infiniti FX gets a new Limited Edition Infiniti FX35 AWD model, which is based on the Infiniti FX35 All-Wheel Drive model and features the exclusive Iridium Blue exterior color, 21-inch 10-spoke aluminum-alloy graphite finish wheels wrapped in P265/45R21 V-rated all-season tires, new dark tinted headlights with Adaptive Front lighting System (AFS) and auto-leveling as well as dark tinted side air vents and lower door trim. Furthermore, the Limited Edition Infiniti FX35 AWD also offer aluminum roof rails and roof rail crossbars with graphite finish, aluminum pedals, graphite floor mats with unique blue piping, Infiniti Hard Drive Navigation System and Around View Monitor (AVM). According to the manufacturer, the 2012 Infiniti FX Facelift introduces a new exterior color dubbed Graphite Shadow which replaces Platinum Graphite, as well as a new 20-inch wheel design for the FX35 Deluxe Touring Package. Just like the previous model, the 2012MY FX comes with a choice of two engines: a powerful 5.0-liter V8 engine delivering 390 hp and a smaller 3.5-liter V6 delivering 303 hp, both mated to the standard 7-speed automatic transmission featuring Adaptive Shift Control (ASC).
The 2012 FX is offered with Intelligent All-Wheel Drive (standard FX35 Limited Edition and FX50), with double-wishbone front/multi-link rear suspension and large 4-wheel disc brakes, along with available Continuous Damping Control (CDC), Rear Active Steer, Intelligent Brake Assist (IBA) and 21-inch lightweight aluminum-alloy wheels.
