Indian motorcycle may not be a household brand name here in Malaysia. In fact, one could be forgiven for mistakenly believing that the bike originated from India. . The Indian Motorcycle range of easy-riders is the fruition of a 110 year history of expert craftsmanship in producing exquisite, streamlined machines which elude a classic style that is truly timeless.
The brand initially hit the road in 1901 as the first American motorcycle and swiftly rose to become the best-selling brand worldwide with the introduction of the first V-twin motorcycle in 1907. The brand now produces its legendary machines on a more modest scale and is recognized as a premium product with strong American heritage. Harmony Fabulous Sdn Bhd is introducing 4 models of Indian motorcycles for the Malaysia and Singapore market –  Chief Blackhawk and Chief Blackhawk Dark (Special Edition), Chief Vintage, Chief Classic and Chief Dark Horse. All models come with factory fitted accessories.
“Today we are introducing to Malaysians a brand that has a long established reputation for excellence. It is certainly an exhilarating moment for us as we reveal the iconic Indian motorcycles that have cruised down highways and back roads across the globe for more than a century,” stated Datuk Wira Hj. SM Faisal Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin, Joint Group Executive Chairman of NAZA Group of Companies.

“Indeed, these magnificent machines are being offered at a premium price that is not ideal for the masses but we believe there is a niche market here. Passionate admirers of two-wheel masterpieces are instantly drawn to the majestic nature of these steel warriors. An Indian motorcycle will make the perfect addition to any cruiser lover’s collection. One of NAZA’s strength is in marketing big bikes. Venturing into the distribution of Indian motorcycles is in synergy with other companies within NAZA,” he added.
The Indian Chief motorcycles are powerfully and meticulously engineered, each featuring a tenacious 1721cc PowerPlusTM engine with electronic fuel injection. From the distinctly contoured fender and sweeping silhouette, to the ergonomically designed genuine leather seat and the unparalleled power of the torque, every Indian Chief strikes the perfect balance of timeless vogue, comfort and superior performance that is undeniable. As Indian Motorcycle begins its journey down a fresh path into Malaysia and Singapore, its legacy is very much alive and the brand has absolutely found ‘A New Road for a Legendary Ride’.
