Built on a new platform, specifically designed for the Indian market, the Eon has a fluidic sculpture design with a bold front fascia, sweptback headlights and prominent fenders. Inside, the symmetric interior is equipped with items such as power windows / locks, a tilt steering wheel and a “fabulous” infotainment system with iPod/USB connectivity.
Additionally, the Eon has a first-in-class driver’s side airbag. Power comes from an 814cc petrol engine that develops 56 PS (41 kW / 55 hp) and 75 Nm (55 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to five-speed manual transmission which enables the car to return 4.7 l/100 km (49.6 mpg US).
