Lexus GS 350F Shows Real Soul
Good news for us as Lexus shows a GS with real ‘sporting soul’ in the new F Sport package. It will include new 19-inch wheels, F SPORT-tuned Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS), thicker anti-roll bars, bushing changes, and new larger front brakes with high friction pads. The new F Sport Package brings a new look for the Lexus GS and offers a new sport front bumper and rear lower valence, rear lip spoiler, unique F SPORT mesh grille inserts and F SPORT badging. The new body kit will also look different with the completely new colors: Riviera Red and Liquid Platinum. The sporty theme is continued at the interior, where the as we will see smooth striated aluminum trim, unique perforated leather trim, black headliner and aluminum pedals, new 16-way power sport seats for increased lateral support.
The interior will also get a new color: the striking Cabernet Red. Under the hood of the 2012 Lexus GS F Sport, we will find the same 3.5-liter V6 engine found also on the GS 350 capable to deliver 306 hp@ 6,400 rpm and 277 lb ft of torque @ 4,800 rpm. Mated to a six-speed sequential-shift with paddle shifters, the GS F Sport is able to hit 60 mph (96 km/h) in just 5.7 seconds and has a top speed of 142 mph or 228 km/h. Now this is a Lexus that needs to arrive in Malaysian showrooms soon.
