Ten Malaysian motorists gathered at The Hilton Kuala Lumpur from around the country to battle it out for cool and amazing prizes worth more than RM40,000 at Shell’s Pump and Stand to Win RM500,000 Final Challenge. In the end, Encik Abdul Rashid Bin Abdullah from Terengganu beat the 9 other participants to win the grand prizes. Abdul Rashid commented, “I was at a loss for words when my name was announced. I had hoped to be the grand prize winner but I never really thought that I’d be going home with so many amazing and useful prizes. This has already been such a memorable journey and now I will never forget this, thanks to Shell!”

The exclusive Final Challenge saw approximately 100 guests supporting and cheering all the 10 weekly prize winners who vied for the grand prize through a series of draws and challenges. The 10-week Pump and Stand to Win RM500,000 contest was launched in September nationwide by Shell, to complement Shell’s maingrade fuel – Shell FuelSave 95. To participate, motorists needed to pump a minimum of RM30 of any Shell fuel, purchase lubricants or any Shell Select items, then fill up a contest form by answering a simple question and drop the contest form with the purchase receipt attached.
Commenting on the Final Challenge, Leslie Ng, Retail National Sales Manager, Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn Bhd said, “This year alone, we have rewarded more than 23,000 winners. Shell is truly committed to providing Malaysian motorists with high quality fuel options. This takes our commitment to another level by consistently giving our customers the opportunity to further enhance their lifestyle. Shell will continue to reward our Malaysian customers.”
