Ford Focus in Malaysia priced at RM115,888 and RM128,888
Ford today welcomed the highly-anticipated arrival of its all-new Ford Focus in Malaysia at a launch event in Petaling Jaya. The all-new Ford Focus range introduces four class-leading variants comprising the dynamic Sport and Titanium, and high-series Sport+ and Titanium+ models. They are available in 4-door sedan and 5-door hatchback body styles.

The all-new Focus is also packed with more smart technologies and features that put the fun and convenience into driving. Generally found only in larger, more expensive cars, many of these smart features are a first in the mid-sized car segment. Leading the way is the award-winning Ford SYNC™ system, powered by Microsoft, which enables drivers to make calls or play their favourite music using voice commands. Giving widespread access to this hands-free voice-activated in-car connectivity technology, SYNC comes standard in all four variants.The Active Park Assist feature, which helps the driver parallel park hands free, is first in the segment for Malaysia. It comes standard on the Sport+ and Titanium+ models. Technologies such as Active City Stop low-speed safety system, which helps mitigate low-speed collisions, and Blind Spot Information System (BLIS), which alerts the driver when a car enters its blind spot, are both first in this segment. Active City Stop is standard on the Sport+ and Titanium+ models while BLIS comes standard on the Titanium+ model. Other smart features include Smart Keyless Entry and Ford Power Start, which are available across all variants.
The all-new Focus features a new Duratec 2.0-litre Ti-VCT GDi engine. The combination of gasoline direct injection (GDi) with twin independent variable camshaft timing (Ti-VCT) technologies helps make the dual overhead camshaft (DOHC) four-cylinder one of the most powerful, fuel-efficient and refined engines in its class and one of the most advanced non-turbocharged four-cylinder engines Ford has ever offered. Offered on the Sport, Sport+, Titanium and Titanium+ models, the 2.0-litre GDi engine delivers an impressive combined cycle fuel consumption result of 14.9 km/L2. Delivering 170 PS of power and 202 Nm of torque, the engine is mated with the latest six-speed Ford PowerShift automatic transmission, which combines the efficiency, optimised gear ratios and responsive performance of a traditional manual transmission with the smoothness, convenience and ease-of-use of a conventional automatic.
Ford engineers have also enhanced the cornering agility and stability of the all-new Focus with the car’s Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) module and the introduction of an advanced Torque Vectoring Control system, which has typically been available only on premium sports vehicles.
Ford is now offering a 5-year warranty or a 200,000 km bumper-to-bumper new vehicle warranty for the all-new Focus. This 5-year warranty also applies to the Ford Fiesta, Mondeo and S-Max models.
As with all Ford passenger vehicles available in Malaysia, the all-new Focus also comes with Ford’s Extended Service Plan (ESP) to provide added peace of mind to customers at no extra cost. Ford ESP is a free three-year or 60,000km maintenance programme that covers parts and labour free of charge. In addition to routine inspection and maintenance services, Ford’s ESP covers free replacements for selected wear-and-tear items, including spark plugs, shock absorbers, engine belts, brake pads, and wiper blades.The five-year warranty combined with Ford ESP is designed to help Ford customers cut costs while increasing the resale value of their vehicles.
