0Jaguar To Launch X-Type Successor In 2015
Jaguar is looking at releasing a competitor to the Mercedes CLS. Jaguar has just revealed that it is developing an X-Type successor for 2015. This was codenamed X760. It is expected to be built on the premium lightweight architecture (PLA) and it will be offered with rear and all-wheel drive. The model may also lead to a crossover version in 2016. However, it should be clarified that nothing has been made official yet. It is believed that there will be a redesigned XF that is internally known as the X260. The model will be available as a sedan and wagon but there’s also a rumour that a crossover will be the third body style. The next-generation XJ (X360) sedan is scheduled to be released for 2017.
